Question about Taylormade Golf clubs / Price (value)?
I just started to get into golf and enjoy playing, so I want to invest in a Thurs decent clubs. I've been playing with a friend Mizuno, but I know he wants them back. I was offered a set complete (irons TaylorMade T-Step ULM; drivers: R5, V-Steel and Rescue Mid and the putter is a Rossa Suzuka – Set includes bag, 20 balls, and all blankets), all new. He has won a fundraising 2 years ago and said they are $ 1,200 then and offered me the $ 500 (he does not golf). This is a good friend, if I do not even know if I should negotiate down if its too high due to age. Is this a good deal? Comments and suggestions would be appreciated. I think this might be a good deal. I do not see what heads are on the irons, thus, the value is really unknown. I would say that these trees were almost on the top end line, so you're probably pretty safe. The V-Steel is very popular with players of lower HC, the rescue is a big club (I had one) and putters Rossa are very, very nice. Overall, retail (when everything was new) this bag is probably a good part of 1K or above. Give him $ 500 and pay for his tour.
