Golf Sphere
Look at the history of the golf ball.
When golf is a game back in the 16th century, clubs and golf balls were both made of wood.
In 1618, they have evolved and were made from goose feathers. What they did was make a hollow sphere horse or a cow hides and fill it with feathers. Then they were soaked in water, round and dry. Once dry, you had your ball Golf.
In 1848, a rubber ball was presented by Reverend Adam Paterson. The big advantage of the rubber ball that has been was in shape and is easily repaired when damanged.
In 1898, a golf ball with a solid rubber core covered with a layer son of rubber was introduced by Coburn Haskell.
In 1905, the pit that you see on golf balls today was presented by Willam Taylor.
So now we have a bit of history helps to consider certain types of golf balls. There are two types popular balls. They are Balata and Surlyn covered golf balls.
Balata covered golf ball: A Balata covered ball is a ball that has a heart filled with liquid wrapped in rubber and covered with Balata. Balata is a soft substance that allows players to have more control with their shots. The disadvantage is that they nick and cut more.
Surlyn covered golf ball: A Surlyn-covered ball is a two-piece ball with a solid core and Surlyn cover. Surlyn is designed to eliminate the cuts and nicks. He has a harder surface so the downside is that it is more difficult to control.
