Frame Black

The composition of words changing the base word "dial" which means "create" and is vital for the world of photography. Any that can take a picture. Just point and click. And you get what you get.
But a real photographer learns to compose a photograph. In other words, photographer with a skill or instinct creates an image, a particular vision of what viewers see. In fact, what he or she wants the viewer to see. He or she made a deliberate choice that will affect the photo and the message or the feeling it conveys.
In photography, it are several generally accepted guidelines or "rules" to help teach composition in a logical manner that creates good photos visually interesting and consistent manner. One of these widely accepted "rule" is the "rule of thirds".
The rule third refers to the area of interest in a photograph that occurs naturally at four key points of intersection if you were to divide your viewfinder into thirds both vertically and horizontally, like a tic-tac-toe game. Each location will meet the lines creates a point of interest and the third rule that suggests you focus on your photo or essay on one of these four points.
For example, suppose you shooting a sailboat on a lake. The novice photographer would probably take a picture with the boat in the center of the image or the viewfinder. Although there is nothing particularly wrong with that, it lacks visual interest. The third rule suggests that the photographer moved from one side and crop the photo so that the boat itself is located in one of these four key points of intersection, which makes the photograph more visually interesting and attractive, as the human eye is being operated at or outside the boat, according to one of four points is selected.
A good way to both illustrate and learn this principle is to take a piece of paper and fold it into thirds vertically, then roll and fold into thirds horizontally. Take a look at where the fold lines cross and put a big black dot in each location. Keep this sheet as a reference and a label: rule of thirds. Each of the four points represent a point of convergence, according to the rules of thirds.
Now, take a photo, maybe a boat water as described, or perhaps a tractor in a field with the focal point at the center of the frame which is normally your typical shot. Then take four photos moreover, each moving the camera just a little to save the boat or tractor, what you have as the focus of your photo in each of the four points of intersection identified.
Print or view all five photographs. Which one (s) have the most visual appeal? That demonstrate the best sense art? It is likely to be one of those four, and more specifically, it is highly likely that one with the object (boat or tractor) bottom right point of intersection is the most attractive.
You can apply the rule of thirds composition of other pictures as well, even portraits of people or other subjects.
Consider what attracts you to a portrait of a person. In most cases, these are the eyes. When composing your picture next to a person, even a great headshot, try to ensure that the eyes are the focal point by placing them in One of the four points of intersection according to the rule of thirds. Because of the size and shape of the human body and even a headshot, it often seems more attractive when eyes are at the point at the top right corner of the intersection.
The rule of thirds is a basic principle of photographic composition. There are many low other guidelines or rules you can follow to create more interesting photos, as well. Indeed, there are entire books devoted to this subject alone. As you learn one or more techniques, remember that sometimes rules are made to be broken for a particular artistic effect.
Remember, too, that photography is both an art and a skill, and is subjective. What is visually interesting for one person may not hold the same call for someone else. So follow your instinct, but above all, be deliberate. Do not just snap a picture. Composing a photograph instead of. Move the camera around and experiment with what you see through the lens, which selectively removes certain components and including others to make a conscious choice which is reflected in the final photo and where it is in the photo. Create photography!
