If it is a tradition celebrated by many in the Philippines, not everyone knows exactly how Valentine's Day arrived. We of course associate to Valentine, but do not know how it was actually recognized as the saint of lovers. Before sending this red heart, greeting card windows, see be initiated and continued.
Before the third century Rome, 14th of February is nothing but an ordinary day. During his reign, Emperor Claudius II banned marriage for young men because they seem to be better soldiers than husbands and fathers. This discrimination is a young priest named Valentine furious. Such an injustice to Valentine to rebel against the emperor continued to perform marriages between young lovers in secret. The Emperor naturally discovered the secret Valentine. Here in the Philippines, it is certainly the second most popular festival next to the tie breaker Christmas and New Year. Hands down, the flowers are the cake this time of year as the most popular gift of choice. Why would it not be when these cut flowers are easily available and have long symbolized fertility, love, marriage and romance?
Floriography or speaking in the language of flowers blooming in the Middle Ages, when the court is strictly prohibited. How to communicate love for weeks or months with flowers alone is simply incredible! While we are a SMS or e-mail absent today, you have to admit that they still speak the language of flowers. Obviously here in the Philippines How does dialect never seems to fade away. If the flower can be up to the year, sending a dozen or two during the February 14 is even more special because it is paired with the thought of eternal love, similar to Valentine's life was lived.
