Button Golf
I have a golf cart 36 volts. Can I add a 6 volt battery, and run from a switch to give 42 volts? on demand?
I would like to push a button on my 7th floor temporarily engage the battery when I want to use. Suggestions? Thank you
You certainly can. But you are smoking at least half a dozen components to the moment you hit the button and perhaps a dozen others in a few seconds. Almost everything in your power system is designed and built to carry 36VDC. If you put it in more bad things will happen, very bad very expensive things.
